Bluff Point Doctors Surgery, Geraldton
The Bluff Point surgery is a modern building at the Bluff Point Shopping Centre at 429 Chapman Road. The surgery is open during the day on some occasions, for these days please contact the surgery. Doctor Graeme Findlay consults here as the Principal and employs experienced competent doctors to assist him. All the doctors are qualified and most are studying for further post graduate qualifications.
We currently have Registrar GP Doctor Ahmed Ragab working most days from 9am to 5pm.

Fees and billing arrangements
Our consultation fees are displayed at the receptionist’s desk and are at AMA rates. Credit card facilities are available. Bulk billing is available for pensioners, veterans’ affairs and department of family and community services health care cardholders, patients under the age of 16 and all recall services. The doctor or staff will advise you of any other costs that might arise from your consultation or treatment, for example any x-rays. Please bring your Medicare card and any of the above cards for each appointment.
After hours care
If you need medical assistance when the surgery is closed, please contact Health Direct on 1800 022 222 or the Geraldton Hospital on 08 9956 2222 and ask for the Emergency Department. In an emergency call Triple 000 and ask for the ambulance service.
Home visits are available for specific medical conditions.
Telephoning your doctor
You can contact doctors in this practice by telephoning during normal surgery hours. A message will be taken or an appointment will be scheduled. Please note at times the phone will be diverted to the Kalbarri surgery but appointments can still be made at the Bluff Point surgery. Appointments can be made at any time online.
Management of your personal health information
Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain the security of personal health information at all times and ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.
Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. Appointments are routinely scheduled at 15 minute intervals. Longer consultations are available, so please, ask our receptionist if you require the extra time.
This practice has a policy of automatic enrolment in a reminder system. Clients will be forwarded reminders for an ongoing care for example the annual flu vaccination, pap smears and diabetic reviews. All recalls via the reminder system are bulk billed. All patients may opt out of this system by advising the reception staff.
If a patient has any queries, suggestions or complaints, they may be made to Dr Findlay or practice staff. However, if you wish to take the matter further and feel you need to discuss the matter outside of the surgery please contact.
