In keeping with the Hills ambience the Gooseberry Hill Medical Centre has sought to provide a welcoming, cheerful, relaxed atmosphere within our practice. As a bulk billing practice, all our patients are bulk billed and we provide extended consultations when required.
We seek to provide relaxed affordable medical care in comfortable surroundings where the staff and patients sit at the same level in comfortable red easy chairs and sofas.
You’ll feel right at home in our large, airy, and open waiting room, equipped with magazines and a kid’s play area, plus comfortable sofas and chairs. There is plenty of parking available on site and our practice is fully wheelchair friendly.

Fees and billing arrangements
Gooseberry Hill Medical Centre is a bulk billing clinic for standard medical consultations and procedures. Other services, for example Drive Medicals, Workers Compensation, Insurance reports etc, will be charged. This applies to all patients holding a valid Medicare card. Patients not holding a valid Medicare card will be charged standard AMA rates as displayed at the reception desk. You will be advised if you are required to pay for any additional costs associated with your consultation.
Please bring your Medicare card and concessions/pension/VETS cards.
Credit Card facilities are available.

If you are a patient of the Gooseberry Hill Medical Centre we are able to offer a home visit service within our normal surgery hours. Please contact us to make an appointment.
Telephoning your doctor
You can contact doctors in this practice by telephoning during normal surgery hours. A message will be taken or an appointment will be scheduled. Appointments can be made at any time online.
Management of your personal health information
Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain the security of personal health information at all times and ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.
Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. Appointments are routinely scheduled at 15 minute intervals. Longer consultations are available, so please, ask our receptionist if you require the extra time.
This practice has a policy of automatic enrolment in a reminder system. Clients will be forwarded reminders for an ongoing care for example the annual flu vaccination, pap smears and diabetic reviews. All recalls via the reminder system are bulk billed. All patients may opt out of this system by advising the reception staff.
If a patient has any queries, suggestions or complaints, they may be made to the Practice Manager or practice staff. However, if you wish to take the matter further and feel you need to discuss the matter outside of the surgery please contact.
